$35 per hour flat rate.

Proper Quilt Preparation - by following these 7 preparation steps below, you can avoid time delays and add- on charges (please call me if you have any questions):
  1.  up quilt top and reinforce outside edges with stay stitching to prevent piecework from pulling apart.
  2. Press your quilt top and backing thoroughly.
  3. Clip all loose threads from the back and front of the quilt top.
  4. Size your backing and batting 4 to 6 inches larger than your quilt top on all four sides.
  5. Square up backing fabric.
  6. Use smaller stitches when piecing your backing. I recommend a ½ inch seam allowance - stitch ½ inch away from the selvage! Be sure to remove all selvages after seaming your backing.
  7. Wavy borders, fullness, and puckers cannot be quilted out, and may result in additional preparation charges.

Binding Services:

I am happy to do the finishing touches by binding your quilt for you. I can do both straight and bias binding: cut at either 2 ¼ or 2 ½ inches, folded, and then pressed in half. The binding is attached to the back of the quilt by machine, then is wrapped to the front and sewn down by machine.
Sorry, I do not provide hand binding!
You supply the fabric, and I will make the binding and attach it. $ 0.39 per linear inch.

Attach only

You provide the binding, and I attach it for you so that you can hand whip down. $ 0.11 per linear inch

" I use (and prefer) high quality quilting thread – such as Glide Thread by Fil-Tec.
